Monday Funday: Table Runners and YUMMY fall recipes!

October 8, 2012

Today, as a part of our 31 Days All About Moms,we wanted to something special for moms to use to spruce up their tables.  And make sure to keep reading because we have two great ideas for a delicious fall meal that are MUST adds to any recipe collection!  Today, we are featuring some awesome handmade table runners from Etsy shop, Corinna’s Collection.  First, we are featuring the festive chevron table runner that Courtney is using to liven up her dining room table.  It is beautifully made and perfect for any time of the year!
And check out this awesome table runner that is perfect for my fall entry table.  It seriously is the PERFECT addition to my fall decor.  I’m in LOVE with it!!!!
Today, we are so excited because the wonderful owners of Corinna’s Collection wanted to share a little information with our readers about their shop:
Welcome to Corrinna’s Collection. We would like to introduce our little shop and say thank you to the Chirping Mom’s for sharing it with all of you. Lucinda Smith and Allison Jones are a mother-daughter Etsy shop. Everything we know about sewing, design, fabric, and wonderful taste comes from a very special mother and grandmother Corrinne – who our store is named after. Lucinda does most of the sewing, although Allison may start someday! We are the closest of friends, and even though we are both Iowa girls Allison now resides in Colorado. The long distance is tough especially with 2 special little grandchildren but our shop and our wonderful relationship keeps us close. We look forward to making something special for you one day!
I love the fact that I have found a few other Iowa ladies out there in the Internet world—and they create some awesome handmade products!  Not only do they carry the fabulous table runners in their shop, but there are also wreaths and a beautifully made decorative wall hanging.  This would be a perfect place to pick up a few items for yourself, as well as those special ladies in your lives (friends, sisters, mothers, aunts, grandmothers, etc.)!

Today, Corinna’s Collection is giving away to one of our lucky readers a $20 gift certificate to their shop.  Enter below for a chance to win!

And fall finally arrived yesterday here in New Jersey.  We went from 80 degree beautiful sunshine on Friday to a 50 degree rainy Sunday.  Let’s just say that in our house, we spent our afternoon taking naps, cuddling in sweatpants, and enjoying our cranberry fall candle burning!

For a perfect fall meal, we are featuring an entree from Courtney’s house with a little apple crisp dessert that was created in my house yesterday after our adventures out apple picking.  DELISH—you seriously must make these two favorites ASAP!
