Mother’s Day Craft: Easy Hand Shaped Flower Bouquet

April 29, 2023

Dads: paper, scissors & tape… you can handle this one. The kids aren’t bringing home any cute Mother’s Day crafts this year & mom might like a handprint (to remember how small they were before they snacked their way through quarantine & ended up bigger than her). This is a cute one to make for grandma too. This hand shaped flower bouquet is an easy Mother’s Day craft and a bouquet of flowers that will not wilt and you don’t have to go to the store to get. Here’s how to make it:

Easy Mother’s Day Craft

Supplies:

  1. Paper (green a few other colors or all white and color on the hands)
  2. Scissors
  3. Tape
  4. Ribbon
  5. Sticks (wood dowel, popsicle sticks, sticks from outside, anything!)
  6. Green marker (optional)

Directions:

First trace the child’s hand on paper a few times. Three flowers is what I did for our bouquet. Next cut out the hands. Then color your sticks green. This is optional.

Next, tape the sticks to the back of the hands. Cut out leaves from the green paper and tape those to the sticks too. Last, tie a ribbon around the bouquet!

We hope mom or grandma enjoy this easy Mother’s Day Craft!
