My Favorite Poem for Mother’s Day

May 9, 2013

A few years ago there was a video on Disney Junior where kids talked about what a poem is & then a beautiful poem was read by Jennifer Garner. I was telling my husband about it & how much I loved it. He found the video online & searched for the lyrics. Turns out it’s a traditional lullaby called Mother’s Song. He printed it out & framed it with a picture of Maggie (this was before Alex was born). I was so surprised on Mother’s Day. It still hangs in our room & I love reading it to the girls. If you’ve never seen the video from Disney, I included the YouTube video below.

The poem makes a great Mother’s Day card or gift. It’s also a beautiful lullaby to read or sing to your little ones!
