Who is ready to put the “YAY” into Friday this summer?  I love having all the kids home in summertime.  With four kids at home, it’s wild and crazy.  There is lots of fun, but I have to admit that by Friday morning that I am exhausted.  After a full week of playdates, summer outings, and afternoons at the pool, I look forward to slowing down our Friday and enjoying a lazier morning of cartoons and playtime before the weekend begins.    I was excited to find out that the Disney Junior will be putting the YAY into our Friday mornings by showing new episodes of some of our favorite shows all summer long every Friday morning on Disney Channel, including our favorite: Puppy Dog Pals.

Puppy Dog Pals is one of the new animated shows that you can find on Disney Junior.  The show follows two fun-loving pug brothers, Bingo and Rolly, on exciting adventures through their neighborhood and around the world.  The show has quickly become a new favorite in our house and is one of the few shows that all three of my older kids, ages four to eight, enjoy watching together.  You can watch Puppy Dog Pals throughout the week on Disney Junior.  A new episode will premiere each “FRiYAY” morning this summer on the Disney Channel.  Today, we wanted to share our very own Puppy Dog Pals craft that we created.

Puppy Dog Pals Craft

Supplies Needed:

  • Paper Plates
  • Paint
  • Scissors
  • Craft Glue
  • Sponge Shapes
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Assorted Pom-Poms
  • Marker

Directions

  1.  Using sponge, apply paint to paper & paper plates.  Let dry.

2.  Cut out ears out of the paper and attach to the back of the paper plate using glue or tape.

3.  Add wiggle eyes & pom-pom using craft glue.  Draw on a mouth using a marker.

Abby, my four year old, wanted to make not one, but two paper plate puppies so she could have her own Puppy Dog Pals, just like in the show!  Make sure to tune into the Disney Channel FRiYAY morning for new episodes of Puppy Dog Pals.  You can also check out the Disney Junior YouTube & Facebook page for more content and information, as well as the Disney Junior app for more episodes of Puppy Dog Pals!
