If you can’t make it to the beach, bring the beach to you:)  If there is one thing that my kids have on their summer bucket list every summer, it’s “go to the beach”.  The kids love digging in the sand, jumping in the water, & soaking in the relaxed life at the beach.  Unfortunately, we don’t live close enough to the ocean to make it a daily activity during the summer.  I decided to bring the beach to our house by creating our very own “beach in a box”.  This is a fun and easy summer activity for kids.  Create a miniature beach in a box using homemade “sand” & plastic animal toys.  All you need to make this activity is listed below:

3.  Mix flour and baby oil to form “sand”.
