Review: Evenflo EveryStage DLX All-in-One Car Seat

As a first time parent, when it comes to finding the best gear for your baby, moms typically prep as if they were taking the SAT again. We study up like we’re going to be tested on the gear afterwards. Moms devote hours on the internet, talking to mommy friends, reading reviews, comparing costs, weighing the pros and cons, all to find the perfect option for your particular baby. The journey for the gear comes to an end when you click “Purchase” for your ideal item – only to find that in a blink you’re back on the path, because, like all good things, this period comes to an end when they grow out of set item.

Evenflo EveryStage DLX All-in-One Car Seat

This is one of the reasons why I particularly love finding gear that can grow with my little man. Like many first time moms, I decided on a infant car seat that doubled as a carrier that I could easily take in and out of my car. This was great for the first stage of my baby’s life, but quickly became a pain (both literally and physically) as he became heavier and longer. I found myself leaving the carrier in the car all the time just to avoid holding it; which totally defeated the purpose of the car seat to begin with. I began the oh-so-familiar journey of finding the perfect car seat, and promised myself this would be the last time in my son’s life that I embarked on the car seat expedition yet again.

The Features of the Evenflo EveryStage

There were so many great features with this car seat, which were brought to my attention immediately with the install of the seat into my car. My husband brought it outside, and in the time I went inside to grab the manual and walk back out, the seat was installed! He was raving about how easy that was while I checked to make sure it felt secure (it couldn’t of been ​that​ easy, right?!) The Evenflo EveryStage DLX All-in-One Car Seat is equipped with an EasyClickTM LATCH system that made for a tighter installation and a wiggle-free seat without having to get into the car to install. Installation literally took seconds!

My other favorite feature was how it can recline at 5 different reclined positions (3 rear-facing and 2 forward-facing) to best meet the comfort of your baby while also fitting in your allotted vehicle space. My son is currently at the 3rd level (last of the rear-facing) and I can’t believe how much space the passenger in front of him has. It’s hard to imagine my son using this car seat for the next 10 years of his life, but with the 10 different seat positions that allow the seat to grow with your child, I know I’ll always be able to find the right fit for him.
