Simple Spooktaculer Decor Ideas

September 22, 2020

It’s no secret that I love Halloween. From DIY costumes to ghoulish desserts, we love all things spooky in our house. Since Halloween is a big deal in our town, we enjoy decorating outside. My kids get really into it each year and see how “scary” they can make it look. This year I decided I’ll let them take the reins on the outside and I’d add some new Halloween decor inside. So far I’ve come up with 2 spooktacular in-home décor scapes!

I had fun finding all the supplies at Party City. This year you can shop online, do curbside pickup or shop in store. You can even choose same day for the pickup/delivery. They have amazing options for Halloween decor and it’s very affordable: I got everything for BOTH of these decor scapes for under $25

Halloween In-Home Decor Scapes

For our living room wall I created a giant spider web with spiders. I got this Party City rope web and then a bunch of these tinsel spiders (that are a great size for $1.49). I attached everything using just painters tape, so it won’t damage the wall. The spiders are really light weight and their little feet are bent so they easily hang on the web.

For our stair case, I wanted something creepy but cute… so I went with the Party City Halloween Gauze Kit that came with cute glittery bats. They have an adhesive on them already so you can easily stick them right onto the cloth.

I can’t wait to add more decor inside and outside. Do you have any fun Halloween ideas after browsing Party City? I’d love to hear. Let the most spooktacular month of the year begin!

Pin these Party City Halloween Decor ideas for later:
