Stress Free Summer Entertaining

May 21, 2014

As I mentioned in this morning’s post, I love entertaining outdoors. I’m always up for an afternoon playdate with lots of kids or a weekend bbq. What I like about outdoor entertaining is that it can often be very impromptu. I never have to worry about making sure I clean the house first or how many people can fit in the house. Outside, it’s the more the merrier, anytime of day. Something that makes outdoor entertaining even more stress free, if having a few key items on hand and some easy go-to recipes if needed.

5 Things To Have On Hand For Stress Free Summer Entertaining:

1.) One of my favorite new items for summer are the Mason Entertaining items from Aladdin. They are dishwasher safe, come in fun colors and are priced great. The theme for their new entertaining collection is “less stress and more togetherness”, which is what all parties and gatherings should be about!

2.) Fun paper plates: spend time with guests outside and forget doing the dishes!

3.) Tea bags or ice tea mix

4.) Lemons: Add a few slices to ice tea, use to make your own lemonade or just add to a pitcher of water

5.) Ice Pop tray: if you have kids coming over, you can make a yummy treat anytime

Now for the food:

We just started a Pinterest board called:  Easy Summer Meals

We’ve added some of our favorite snacks, dinners, desserts and kids food for easy summer cooking. We hope this helps you plan some stress free summer fun.
