Summer Entertaining Made Easy

May 20, 2014

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and it’s advertiser.

With Memorial Day Weekend kicking off in just a few days, BBQ season is about to begin! I love entertaining, and it’s much easier for us to have guests in our backyard than in our house. From small playgroup picnics to large outdoor parties, we’ll be entertaining outside for the next few months. I’m always looking for new recipes and meals to grill for my summer guests. This summer, i’ll be chasing around my 2 and 4 year old little girls while pregnant with baby #3. So, this season, I’m really on the hunt for easy ways to entertain outdoors.

For an easy outdoor meal, you can throw an outdoor summer pizza grilling party complete with delicious drumsticks after! Head to Walmart for two key ingredients: NESTLÉ® DRUMSTICK® Cones (Peanut Butter Variety) and JACK’S® Original Pizza. #CollectiveBias

Until recently, I never knew you could cook a frozen pizza on the grill. Jack’s Original Pizza cooks perfectly on the grill – that’s right, you can grill it! I usually steer clear of frozen pizza in the summer because heating my oven to 425 turns my kitchen into a sauna. Now that I know how to properly grill a frozen pizza, I can make it for my family for dinner or for a summer pizza party.

Here’s how to grill your Jack’s Original Pizza:

*For gas grills only

– Preheat the grill, setting the burners to low

– Place the pizza directly on the center of the grill

– Cook the pizza for 7 minutes, rotate 1/2 turn

– Cook another 5-8 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling in the middle and the crust is golden brown

– Last, enjoy your grilled pizza party!

After dinner, guests can enjoy a yummy Nestle Peanut Butter Drumstick. It’s the perfect ending to a summertime party with friends and family. For more Nestle ideas, visit their Flavorful Moments site. #SummerGoodies

A summer pizza party is a fun change from the typical BBQ and your guests will have a blast. What’s even better: you’ll have very little to clean up after. You can spend the rest of the night chatting with friends and watching the kids chase after fireflies. Enjoy your summer entertaining!
