Tai Pei: A New Easy Meal Option

February 17, 2018

This post was sponsored by Tai Pei, all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

We are trying to stick to a real grocery budget this year (it’s about time!) and with that, we’re trying to cook more and eat out less. That’s not always easy. We try to eat dinner together as a family when my husband is home early enough form work, but many nights the kids eat first and we eat later on when he gets home. This is when we usually run into wanting take out – because we’ve both been busy all day and want something quick. I’ve never been a big frozen foods person but really like the new Tai Pei meals I tried. They’re perfect for those busy nights, especially when you’re on a budget.

There’s a ton of flavor in the whole range of  of tasty entrées. There’s no prep, you just pop them in the microwave. Their packaging is much less waste and much less fuss than other frozen meals. 5 minutes in the microwave and your Tai Pei is ready to eat. The entries all have flavor-infused rice and fried rice is my favorite. The rice is really good and honestly doesn’t taste like microwaved Asian Food usually does- it tastes much better! The main reason I was willing to try these meals is because all entrees are made with real, pure ingredients, and no preservatives or artificial ingredients. There’s none of the bad stuff, just lots of delicious goodness. My favorites are the General Tso’s Spicy Chicken and the Vegetable Lo Mein.

To find out where you can get Tai Pei locally, click here to visit their store locator. All of my local grocery stores have it. You can find it in there frozen foods section. The containers are small and have 1 serving. We love them because if we were to order Asian food for take out, my husband and I would each pick something different. With Tai Pei meals, we still can and for a fraction of the price. Even my kids have tried the Lo Mein and like it.
