The 12 Days of Toys: Day 12, “Creative Arts” Toy Package

December 12, 2013

It’s our last day of the “12 Days of Toys” giveaway series and today, we are bringing several prizes to one lucky winner!  We call these our “Creative Arts” toy collection because all of these toys encourage creativity and imagination in your child’s minds!  We are really thankful to partner with some really awesome Etsy shops to bring you this fun giveaway.

The first prize is a winter set of three masks: penguin, Rudolf, and arctic fox from Opposite of Far.  This Etsy shop is one of our favorite new finds to buy child’s gifts this holiday season and is listed as part of our holiday gift guides here!  Opposite of Far features child and adult animal masks and tails that encourage play and expand imaginations.  Courtney’s girls get daily use out of their masks while I am excited to be gifting these beautiful masks to some of my own little family members!

Our next two items in this Creative collection comes from the fun shop, Love Bubs.  LoveBubs is offering one lucky reader a set of their all-natural finger paint and a trio of the holiday play dough.  We shared about our love for Love Bubs in our 10 Great Playdough Ideas post earlier this year.  Love Bubs creates handmade non-toxic play dough in delicious and fun scents.  The holiday play dough set includes:  cranberry, hot cocoa, and Christmas tree.  Love Bubs play dough would be a great item to add to any stocking or buy several and create a fun little set for someone special.  Love Bubs also creates all-natural finger paint, perfect for those of us who worry about our kids who put everything in their mouth!  These would be GREAT stocking stuffers and for our readers, please use coupon code Chirping20 to receive 20% off.  Love Bubs also creates “From Santa” labels upon request for the child’s stockings so make sure to request that when you place your order!

We love finding unique ideas while browsing Etsy and that is exactly how I came across “Fort In A Bag…Build Your Own Fort Kit” by SugarPlum By Rachael.  This kit includes everything you need to create your own fort:  chevron print bag to hold everything, tag with name and contents, twin size shed cut in half with ribbon ties/loops on four corners, three bungee cords, rope, three clamps, flashlight, six clothespins, and a glowstick.  This would make a great gift for kids of all ages to spark their imagination to create a little “hideaway”.  SugarPlum By Rachael carries a wide variety of items, including birthday hats, pennant banners, and diapers/wipes clutches.  Head over to check out the full shop!

One item that I have always wanted to make my children (but have yet to do!) is a little quiet book, an interactive book that encourages your child to quietly play on their own.  One reason I have never made one is I am not sure how to even start this project, especially with my limited sewing knowledge.  Well, now we have a secret to share with you…you can still make the homemade gift for your own little one with some major assistance thanks to the vhttps://www.etsy.com/listing/129873949/wheres-max-felt-quiet-book-pdf-pattern?ref=shop_home_active from Lindy J Design.  This printable PDF pattern, available is an instant download, features Max the puppy who hides in different places throughout a house.  The pattern includes detailed materials list, large colored photos, step by step instructions, and printable patterns so you can create your very own homemade quiet book to entertain your little one!  Lindy J Design makes some really fun and unique patterns to create play mats, quiet books, felt board stories, and more.  Make sure to check out the holiday special when you head over to Lindy J Design, there’s a great deal going on now!

The last item included in our Creative Arts giveaway is a fun crayon roll from Etsy shop, Sawyer Sewing.  We featured one of these crayon rolls earlier this year and my boys continue to use it often both at home and when we are on the go.  We have replaced our crayons right now with Pip Squeak markers and this is one of my favorite items to pack when we head to MeMe’s house!  Sawyer Sewing carries lots of adorable zipper pouches right now that would be great to use when you travel, hold items in your purse, or keep items in a diaper bag contained.

For a chance to win this great “Creative Arts” prize collection, enter in the Rafflecopter below and good luck!  Make sure to enter all 12 giveaways in our Giveaways tab at the top of our page by tomorrow at midnight!  We will announce all winners on Saturday morning so stay tuned to our page to find out if you are one of our lucky winners!  Thanks for following along and joining the fun of our “12 Days of Toys” giveaway series!

My favorite thing to win would probably be the scooter. My son could use it now and then my daughter in a few years!
