For as far back as I can remember, some of my favorite holiday memories are Christmas shopping with my Grandma. When I was little, it was always to pick out my own gift. As I got older, I would take her to pick out gifts for everyone. Since my girls were born, the most fun was taking her to pick out gifts for them. She would never let me pick “just anything”. It had to be the best gift & the best quality. She loved shopping & knew the best selection when she saw it. Last Christmas, she was thrilled when we arrived at Target. She threw her cane in the big red cart & insisted on pushing it around herself. She filled it with toys for Maggie & Alex. We had the best time shopping in the Target toy aisle, & she had 2 very excited great granddaughters on Christmas day. This year, Christmas, shopping is a little sad for me, as it’s the first Christmas, not having my Grandma to shop with.
But, she convinced me that Target has the best gifts for kids, & with 95 years of experience, who could argue with her. Plus, pushing a big red cart through the Target toy aisle will always remind me of the fun we had shopping there together. Now I spend time shopping at Target with my 2 little elves: Maggie & Alex.
Maggie & Alex also love going to Target. It was the perfect way to figure out what they really wanted for Christmas. After many trips to Target this holiday season, here’s what I found: the top toys & great deals.
Maggie’s Top Picks:
Alex’s Top Picks:
Alex loves the Circo dolls & accessories. She especially likes these tiny dolls.
Since they were very little, my girls have both enjoyed B. Toys. They always stop to play with the toys when we are at Target. I love the colors of B. Toys & they are built to last. We’ve had the Cat Keyboard for years & this year the girls will be getting the Pet Vet for Christmas.
A Few Other Hot Toys This Season:
Right now Target is having a great toy promotion. So many of our favorite toy brands are Buy One, Get One 50% Off. There’s still time to shop online & in stores! We’re excited to give away a $25 Target gift card to one lucky reader. #MyKindOfHoliday
Happy holiday shopping everyone!
This is Alex’s “More holiday shopping Mom?!” face.
Disclosure: I regularly shop at Target, but I compensated for this post with a Target gift card. We used the gift card to buy toys for charity. As always, all opinions are my own.
