The Complete Holiday Guide To Shopping For Little Girls

November 27, 2013

For more holiday inspiration,  please follow our Pinterest boards for our latest pins, including all our favorite holiday ideas!

I have always loved Christmas shopping. When I was really young & couldn’t go to the store, I used to sneak wrapping paper & wrap up things in our house to give my brothers, because I wanted to Christmas shop like my mom did. In middle school, when I found out that my parents did “more of the shopping than I thought”, I was crushed until I realized that meant I could now accompany my mom on almost all of the Christmas shopping. Having the means to give gifts at Christmas is a blessing. I feel extra blessed that I now have 2 little girls to get Christmas surprises for. I’m very excited for this year, because both Maggie & Alex are very into Christmas, Santa & all the magic of the holidays. They also like a lot of the same things, which makes it a little easier. I am pretty sure all of their gifts will entertain & excite them both. The following gift guides are some items from the girls wish lists & some of our favorite things.

1. Dress // Tutu du Monde
2. Pajamas // Skylar Luna
3. Dress // Tutu du Monde
4. Christmas Sweater // Bella Bliss
5. Felt Flower Crown // LaLaLola Shop (discount code below)
6. Apron // Cath Kidston
7. Robe // Gap Kids
8. Christmas T-Shirt // Stella McCartney Kids
The pajamas from Skylar Luna are 100% organic cotton & the softest, most snuggly gift we can think of. They come in a pretty little cloth bag, so here’s a gift you don’t even have to wrap. They have great styles for boys too. Maggie’s felt flower crown (& the one above) are from the LaLaLola Shop on Etsy. The shop is offering 20% off orders $20+ just for our readers! Use code chirpingmoms from now until 12/15.

If you have a little lady to shop for who loves to twirl, dance & feel like a princess, I highly recommend Tutu du Monde. This is a very special gift. The pictures don’t do justice to the detail & high quality of these gorgeous dresses. My girls wear theirs all the time; both to twirl around the house & for holidays/ special occasions.

Who doesn’t love a good sweater for the holidays? My favorite kids’ sweaters are from Bella Bliss. I think they make a wonderful gift. They are very well made & warm. I like that there are some styles that are unisex (like the one Maggie is wearing). This makes an even better gift for families with both boys & girls, because they can pass the sweater down for all their children to wear, for many holidays to come. Some of their sweaters are currently on sale in their Thanksgiving sale.
