The Wonderful Messy Journey With A Baby: Dreft’s #AmazingHood

May 1, 2015

Some days seem to drag on forever, but most days I feel like I blinked and my tiny baby grew into a big 5 year old preparing to start kindergarten. With my first baby, I was nervous and anxious, eagerly awaiting each new stage. With my 2nd, my first was still so small, that I was eagerly awaiting the next stage in more of a “survival mode” mentality. Now, with my 3rd, I’ve finally realized how fast each stage goes by. While moving on to a new stage is exciting, it’s sometimes sad to say goodbye to the stages you’re passing through. We’ve recently entered the “starting solids” stage with Tommy. It’s exciting, fun and messy. Although sometimes when I see him sitting in his highchair, eating meals along side his big sisters, I think “gosh I wish he’d stop growing so fast!” This fun new stage means a lot more mess and much messier clothes & bibs.

Dreft caught on to the ever changing stages and needs of babies and their laundry. With their new line of laundry care products, they are welcoming families to the big, messy, beautiful journey of #AmazingHood. They know a lot changes within the first few years, leading to different needs for different stages – even when it comes to their laundry. Personally, I love the smell of Dreft. It will always remind me of my kids’ baby clothes and the way their nursery smells. I’m enjoying the new line of products, because now Dreft (& my favorite smell) can grow along with the baby. Here’s some info on the new line:

      • Dreft Newborn (Stage One): Expectant and new parents can wash their little one’s fabrics with Dreft’s same beloved hypoallergenic formula, designed to be tough on stains and gentle on baby’s skin with the beloved Dreft baby scent.
      • NEW Dreft Active Baby (Stage Two): Specially designed with a growing, developing baby in mind, NEWDreft Active Baby helps to remove 99% of baby food stains and other outdoor messes with a gentle, hypoallergenic formula and fresh scent.
      • NEW Dreft Blissfuls (Stage Three): NEW Dreft Blissfuls in-wash scent boosters gives families the baby fresh scent they love. Safe on all fabrics, these beads help bring back that nostalgic, amazing baby scent (and all those memories) with every wash
I love this cute new video Dreft made about their #AmazingHood campaign and the new products:

Dreft is hosting a fun Twitter Party Tuesday night! They partnered with new mom and singer Kelly Rowland to unveil the brand’s new line of laundry products. Join in on Tuesday, May 5th, from 9-10pmEST to chat with Kelly about her life as a mom and how she plans to celebrate her very first Mother’s Day!  RSVP here: https://vite.io/DoubleDutyDivas and be sure to follow Dreft on Twitter. You can also keep up with Dreft on their Facebook page. If you’re looking for the super soft blanket pictured in the post, it’s from Little Me and the snuggly bunny lovey is Aden + Anais.
Also, make sure to download Dreft’s “Amazing Baby Days” app now available for FREE on the App store. This adorable new app helps parents – and parents to be – capture the amazing moments of pregnancy through their baby’s first year.  It was recently updated so moms and dads can make keepsake movies from photos and videos captured within the app!

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Dreft. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review and compensation, but all opinions are 100% mine.
