The Chirping Moms

This Week’s Giveaway: Happy Family Food!

March 11, 2013

Happy Family foods have been a staple in our house since Maggie started solids. Over the past 3 years, it’s become a brand I really trust as a mom. Alex eats a pouch with almost every meal lately. As you can see, sometimes the pouches don’t even make it out of the grocery store!
Right now, both of my girls enjoy the Tots line. It’s great knowing there are snacks I can offer that they’ll both eat & are healthy too. Happy Yogis are definitely their favorite!
We recently tried the meal bowls & the girls liked them. They’re my new go-to for nights I have a babysitter or we’re on the go & get home right at dinner time. Some nights it can be tough to prepare a good, nutritious meal for little ones & it’s nice knowing that a trusted brand now offers a meal for tots!
Happy Family has some delicious recipe ideas using their foods. The winner of the giveway will get all of the recipes in their prize pack. I made this one for dessert & the girls love it:
Dirt Dessert….Healthy Style
Ingredients:
4 oz chocolate greek yogurt
2 oz happybaby Grea Grean:
happybaby PouchStg 3 Spinach, Mango & Pear
10 organic chocolate graham crackers
Fruit leather for worms
Directions:
Mix the yogurt & happybaby Great Geans together & place at the bottom of the cup. Place the 10 graham crackers in a zip lock bag & have your child pound on the bag to break up the graham crackers into tiny pieces. Then sprinkle on top of the yogurt mixture. Using child size (clean) scissors, have your child cut the fruit leather into thin strips (those are the worms)& place half way out of the cup…then EAT!
Maggie thinks that Simba eating bugs in the Lion King is hysterical. She often asks me if she can  have bugs to eat too. This was the perfect answer to that question! We had some Happy Family Veggie Pals in the pantry, so we used those as our “bugs”.
Now for the giveaway: One lucky winner will receive the Happiest Toddler Package from Happy Family! It includes:

2 Free Trial coupons for each:

Happy Yogis

Happy Tot Plus pouches

 Happy Tot toddler meal bowls

 Happy Tot pouches

In addition the winner receives Happy Family recipes (hard copy) & Happy Family re-usable tote

Approximate Value: $25

I wish they had had all this great stuff when my kids were little. I always made my own baby food because my kids hated the stuff in jars! Now they have all kinds of great ideas. Sigh….
