8 Gift Ideas for Baby’s First Christmas

December 13, 2017

If there’s one person in the family that is so cute & fun to shop for, it’s the baby!  There’s something special about the baby’s first Christmas.  Christmas is such a special time in our house & sharing this time of year with someone new in our family is something to honor and celebrate.  I just love putting on the “My First Christmas” pajamas that have been passed down from sibling to sibling.  I love finding the perfect “My First Christmas” ornament that will be hung on our tree year to year.  And I love searching for a few perfect gifts for baby’s first Christmas.  Today, I wanted to share eight baby’s first Christmas ideas from one of our favorite baby brands, Tiny Love.

8 Gift Ideas for Baby’s First Christmas

Play Mat.  If there’s one toy that every little baby must have, it’s a play mat.  It can be used with infants & grows with the baby as they start to roll, scoot, and move around.  While shopping for a play mat, I look for one has several different activities that stimulate the baby to promote development and motor skills.  The Meadow Days Dynamic Gymini from Tiny Love is inexpensive, but a great pick for a playmat for babies. This playmat has adjustable moving arches to adapt as baby grows.  It also features many different toys and activities to encourage development of language and a cute little house mirror that can double as a picture frame. Part of Tiny Love’s Meadow Days collection, this Gemini is fun for the littlest ones in the house.

Super Mat:  This play mat is the perfect size for baby’s playtime.  It’s huge & the perfect place for a baby that is ready to roll and move around to play on.  It comes with several engaging activities to encourage baby’s development.  It is also easy to fold and carry, making it the perfect play mat for on the go!

Soothe ‘n Groove Mobile:  This mobile is the perfect toy for newborns to listen & watch while laying in their crib.  But once the baby outgrows the mobile, this toy will turn into a stand alone music box that toddlers can carry on their own.  With 18 tunes and up to 40 minutes of continuous music, this would be a fun & colorful gift to give to the littlest one in the family!

Kangy Kangaroo Changing Time Toy: Changing diapers doesn’t get any easier as your baby starts becoming more mobile.  This adorable toy is perfect to keep the baby occupied while changing diapers!  Just clamp the toy near the changing pad and it’s a great toy for the baby to play with while changing the diaper.

Meadow Day Sunny Stroll Stroller Arch:  This fun & colorful toys the perfect little find for baby’s first Christmas.  This little arch full of six cute baby-activated toys clamps onto a stroller to keep your little one occupied while out and about.  It also will clamp to several other baby gear, including the Rock & Play, bouncers, and more.  The flexible arch bends to be compatible with baby’s age and playing preferences. It’s definitely an item to check out and can be found for under $20!

Musical Stack & Ball Game:  Every baby must have a few toys for their first Christmas!  This little elephant toy would be perfect to place under the tree.  This stack & ball game helps develop fine motor skills, including sorting, stacking, and linking.  This is the perfect toy for kids who are just starting to sit up & will last through toddlerhood.

Follow Me Fred: This toy from Tiny Love is super cute!  Activated by a baby’s touch, this self-rolling puppy encourages babies to crawl and chase little puppy, Fred.  It plays music & makes little barking noises and will be sure to bring a smile to the baby’s face on Christmas!

Take Along Projector: This is another fun item to place under the tree for Christmas morning!  This lightweight and portable projector allows you to customize your baby’s environment wherever you go.  The universal clip fits on most cribs & play yards and would be great for traveling with the baby.  It projects soothing lights and thirty minutes of lullabies, with an option of white noise.
