The Chirping Moms

Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella Bites

November 3, 2012

Has anyone seen all of the Crescent Roll commercials lately? They have been making me crave Cresent Rolls & also a desire to come up with my own combination for the upcoming holidays & holiday parties. So, after some thought, I came up with these:

Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella Bites:

Ingredients:

Crescent rolls

Olive Oil

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Can of diced tomatoes

Basil (fresh or dried)

Pepper

Cooking spray

Heat oven according to crescent roll package. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Place rolls on baking sheet. Put a teaspoon (or less) of olive oil on each triangle. Sprinkle cheese. Add a spoonful of diced tomatoes. Add basil & pepper. Sprinkle more cheese & roll up.

Bake according to package.

Enjoy!

Tomato, basil and mozzarella – 3 ingredients that I absolutely love, especially when they're combined! Great idea!

Stopping by from the Friday blog hop.
