Four Seasons Resort Orlando for the Holidays

October 26, 2016

Four Seasons Orlando

The holiday season is here and if you’re on the hunt for a family-friendly place to go on a vacation in, then this gorgeous resort in Orlando will be perfect for you! Read on to find out more.

Earlier this month, our family visited the Four Seasons Resort in Orlando. It was an amazing trip from the minute we checked in. My husband and I couldn’t believe just how accommodating the resort were to our family.

My parents came along to help us and even though they were on a trip to Disney World with 4 grandkids, they were able to spend plenty of time relaxing, thanks to Four Seasons Orlando. We’ll have plenty more details to share in the next few months, but today I wanted to share details on what the resort has going on for the holidays.

Here are some ways that Four Seasons Orlando will celebrate the upcoming festive season at the Most Magical Place on Earth:

A Festive Atmosphere

The Four Seasons Orlando is one of the prettiest hotels I have ever seen. I can only imagine how magical it looks at the holidays. This season, they’ll be adding a gingerbread display in the lobby and holiday decor throughout the main Resort areas.

The lobby will also feature a 12-foot-tall Christmas tree!  Resort guests will enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cider daily.

Their Suites

Like our recent trip with my parents, multi-generational travel is becoming more and more popular. Four Seasons Resort Orlando is perfect for families of all ages. They have a variety of connecting rooms and suite options.

Many of the rooms and suites have a view of the park and you can watch the Magic Kingdom Fireworks – what’s more festive than that? Check out the Four Seasons site for details on the Resort’s top suites, including the Royal, Presidential and Grand suites.

Sweet Treats

One thing about the resort that impressed our entire crew (even the baby!) was the food. There were so many delicious options. For the holidays, they’ll have everything from peppermint bark to gingerbread cookies, and even holiday gelato flavors of gingerbread, candy cane, and toasted marshmallow with chocolate chips.

Lickety Split will also offer the traditional Italian holiday bread panettone di Milano, holiday stollen, pistachio and cranberry bark, pecan toffee, mini mint chocolate cookies, and more to satisfy a sweet tooth. There will even be complimentary cookie decorating with Chef Rabii! This will be offered to Resort guests on select dates.

Kids For All Seasons

The Kids For All Seasons is a complimentary kids camp that’s open daily for ages 4-12 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. My girls (5 and 6 years old) loved Kids for All Seasons and were eager to join in the activities. Kids for All Seasons has some great activities planned for Resort guests throughout the festive season.

A few of the activities will include: candy cane scavenger hunts, animal visits, make-your-own reindeer food, design-your-own sleigh, timed races in the Lazy River, snowman sack races, face painting, and more! Kids will also have a chance to make jingle bell necklaces and write letters to Santa. They’ll also be showing weekly holiday movies like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Home Alone, and Elf.

Holiday Dining

For both Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, the Resort’s restaurants, Capa and Ravello have special meals planned. There will also New Year’s Eve After Party and Kids For All Seasons will host a special party on New Year’s Eve for children ages 4-12.

Plus, don’t forget about their memorable Character Dinning! Visit their site for details. For all holiday dining options and special events, space is limited and reservations are based on availability; for reservation inquiries, call 407 313 6161.

Gifts

If you’re looking for great holiday gifts while you are at the Resort, the Four Seasons lobby level has 2 boutiques, Wardrobe and Fable. It was hard for us to walk by Fable without the kids running in to look at something they spotted in the window!

So, it’s the perfect place to find a special gift. You can also purchase gift cards at the front desk that can be used at Four Seasons Resort Orlando for overnight stays, treatments at The Spa, golf at Tranquilo Golf Club, shopping at the boutiques, or for Resort dining.

This place is for sure a winter wonderland with all the holiday spirit they have and beautiful holiday lights so pair in their surroundings. Christmas eve will be even more flawless once you get a taste of this place.

Four Seasons Resort Orlando is getting ready for the festive season and they’ll surely show your family a memorable holiday!

Hope this post helped you and will give you an idea of where to stay next.
