Where to Wednesday: The Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash

June 13, 2013

Last week my family & I headed to Central Park for the Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash. This is the 2nd year we have attended & once again, we all had a blast! The Bedtime Bash is a fundraiser for the wonderful Baby Buggy Foundation. Founded in 2001 by Jessica Seinfeld, Baby Buggy provides clothing, baby gear & baby essentials to families in need.

The Bedtime Bash was fun for all ages. My entire family enjoyed every minute. We attended with my aunt, mom, cousin, husband & both girls! Maggie & Alex loved the rides.

This year Maggie was old enough to try some of the games & to get her face painted.

The beautiful butterfly on her face was definitely her favorite part of the event. She was so upset when she found out we had to wash it off before bed & she couldn’t always have a butterfly face. The face painting booth was sponsored by two of my favorite sites: Momtrends & Cool Mom Picks.

We had a lot of fun with in the Johnson & Johnson lifeguard chair (& trying their Hello Kitty Bandaids), coloring our own Brownie Brittle tshirt & making pinwheels with the team from Mrs.

Meyer’s.

Even the adults took some time to try the carnival rides. It was a fun, memorable night!

I had a chance to meet some of the team behind the event & they are certainly a group full of smiles, energy & a lot of heart. To date, the foundation has provided over 6 million items to families in need across the country. If you are interested in helping out, visit their “How to Help” page. There is a list of items they are currently in need of. Also, you can follow along with them on Twitter for updates. Last week I saw a tweet that they are in need of baby proofing items & started a little box of items to send along. Baby Buggy does so much for families in need & it’s an organization I’m proud we support.
