We’re just 3 weeks away from the first day of spring. After the cold winter months, we are really looking forward to some sweet sunshine. Sunshine means days back outdoors – our favorite kind of days. We have a “sunny” post today filled with warm weather styles for kids and a really easy craft. Hopefully it gets everyone excited for spring!
We’re counting down to spring and some sweet sunshine with with a fun little sun craft for kids. Directions: This Ripped Paper Sun is really easy to make and can be modified for different ages. For littler ones, you can rip the paper yourself and draw a sun for them to fill in with the ripped paper. For older kids, simply give them yellow paper and let them spend time ripping pieces and creating their own sunshine shape.
Supplies: Either way, it doesn’t require many supples.
You just need: Yellow construction paper, glue or a glue stick, white (or any color) paper to glue the sun onto.
Now for some sunny styles and a great giveaway:
It’s always fun to start to see spring and summer clothes arrive because it means it’s almost time for warm enough weather to wear them! Julie and I both love Janie and Jack clothes for our kids. They have adorable styles for all 8 of the chickadees in our crew: ranging from newborn to 8 years old. Janie and Jack makes it easy to shop because they offer head to toe outfits. Their spring clothes offer perfectly put together looks that turn life’s smallest moments into ones to treasure.
Here are some of our Janie and Jack favorites this season:
