Each year at St. Patrick’s Day I like to go into the kids preschool class to do a craft. I’ve been doing it for years and it’s one of my favorite holiday traditions. My kids love making St. Patrick’s Day crafts at home too so each year I try and come up with a few new ones. This year I’m sharing 3 easy St. Patrick’s Day crafts for kids. Enjoy!
3 Easy St. Patrick’s Day Crafts for Kids
1. Marshmallow Stamp Shamrocks
Supplies: paper, green paint, large marshmallows
Directions: Use the marshmallow as a stamp and stamp 3 circles together to form a shamrock. You can also do 4 if you prefer a 4 leaf clover. Then use some of the green paint to make stems.
2. Cupcake Wrapper Shamrocks
Supplies: green cupcake wrappers (either regular size or mini), paper, glue, green button or sticker.
Directions: Have the children flatten out the cupcake wrappers first. Glue them onto the paper to make the shamrock. Last draw a stem and glue a button in the middle.
3. A Dancing Shamrock
Supplies: Large green shamrock, paper, small shamrock stickers, google eyes, markers, scissors, glue
Directions: Cut 2 arms and 2 legs out of paper. Fold them back & forth to make them “bouncy”. Glue them onto the large shamrock. Add the small shamrocks as the hands and feet. Last create a face for your shamrock. Let dry and then let it “dance”!
