DIY Halloween Candy Bowls

We’re preparing for a big Halloween bash in our house! This year, we’ll be celebrating Tommy’s 1st birthday on Halloween. Halloween parties are my favorite and I’m so excited that this year I have an extra special reason to throw a party. There are so many cool Halloween decorations to use and DIY projects to make. Plus, there’s certainly plenty of great party candy in stores to pick from. I wanted to make a few cute centerpieces for the party tables. I decided on DIY Jack-O-Lantern Candy Bowls. They would go with our Halloween party theme and have yummy treats inside for the guests to enjoy. Between the centerpieces, piñata and goody bags, I knew we’d need a lot of Halloween candy. Then, of course, some for the trick or treaters later on that night! I took a trip to Walmart to grab some of this season’s Large Variety Hershey Candy Bags.

These big bags are party perfect. They price is right and there’s a great variety. For the candy bowls, I wanted a lot of Reese’s and Reese’s Pieces so the orange wrappers could create the orange of the pumpkin. After grabbing the candy, I got the other supplies for the candy bowls before heading home to craft.

Now an easy tutorial on how to make your own

Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Candy Bowls:

Supplies:

Glass or plastic candy bowl

Ribbon

Black felt

Glue

Candy

Directions:

1. Cut out a jack-o-lantern face from the black felt

2. Glue the pieces of the face onto the bowl and let dry

3. Put a ring of glue around the top of the bowl and add the ribbon (tie in a bow at the end if you want). Let dry.

4. Fill the bowl with candy

5. Enjoy the candy with your friend!

We can’t wait to share these candy bowls with our party guests on Halloween. Be sure to check out more Hershey’s Halloween Candy at Walmart. I’d love to hear your favorite sweet!

These are adorable and what a fun idea! I'm sure most of those oranges would be gone soon in my case 😉 Great tutorial and nice candy feature! #client
