Easy DIY Easter Wreath Craft for Kids

March 23, 2021

Easter craft for kids

We’re cranking out Easter wreaths over here this week! The girls and I tried to come up with a super simple Easter craft for all ages and one that they could make a whole bunch of to donate to one of the senior living places in town. We thought the residents might like something “spring-y” to hang on their doors. These are also fun to make for grandparents, neighbors or your own house! Here’s how to make this easy DIY Easter wreath craft:

Another reason we picked this craft is that we are cleaning out our basement and have SO many random scrap book paper sheets and half cut up pieces of construction paper. Since you only need a small “egg” from each piece, this is a great craft for using up extra paper. If you want a special color scheme or have a design in mind, you can also head to the scrap book paper isle of the craft store and get a bunch of sheets for a few dollars.

Ok here’s what you need for this Easter craft!

The Beaufort Bonnet Company

Supplies:

  1. Paper Plate
  2. Scissors
  3. Glue
  4. Tape
  5. Paper in different colors/ patterns
  6. Ribbon
  7. Egg Stencil (Cut one out, trace a cookie cutter if you have one, etc. Anything to make cutting lots of eggs easy!)

Directions:

First cut out lots of paper eggs. We used scrap book paper and construction paper. We made a whole pile of egg shapes and spread them out on the table. Next cut out the center of  the paper plate so you have a wreath shape.

Start to glue the eggs around the paper plate. You can also stick them on using glue dots or a rolled piece of tape. Once all of the eggs are on the plate, cut a piece of ribbon and use it to “hang” the wreath. Last glue a bow on the wreath.

The Beaufort Bonnet Company for Girls

The girls outfits are from The Beaufort Bonnet Company. I love all of the new spring styles that Beaufort Bonnet has this year. I’ve been getting the girls outfits from here for years and they’re always some of our favorite of the season. I used to think that TBBC only had clothes for baby girls but I’m so happy that they have many styles that go up to size 12. Their clothes are beautiful and classic and I’m so happy my girls still enjoy The Beaufort Bonnet Company’s clothes.

This rainbow print my be my girls favorite yet. It’s pretty for spring and out upcoming spring break trip and will be perfect for summer time and the beach too! Maggie’s outfit is the Mae Ryan Romper and Alex’s outfit is the Pollyanna Pocket Shorts with Lainey’s Little Top in white.

The Beaufort Bonnet Company just added some of their Spring styles to their “Pink Prices” category and there are some great deals! Check them out here.
