Who’s ready for some holiday crafting?! We love making holiday crafts, decor and even DIY gifts. I had been seeing these little felt pennant flags and banners pop up to buy here and there. They seemed to either be sold out or too pricey. Then i realized they were probably pretty easy to make. Turns out they were so easy that my kids could have fun making them too. Here’s a little tutorial on our DIY felt holiday pennant flags.

These flags are a fun way to decorate, add to gifts, surprise a friend or something you Elf might like to deliver.

Felt holiday pennant flags

Supplies:

– sheets of stiff felt
– Felt letters
– Wood sticks
– Ribbon

Directions: Cut one of the 2 pennant shapes seen here from your felt sheets. Use your letters to spell holiday greetings. Glue them to the wood sticks (hot glue works best but ask an adult for help!). Last tie some ribbon on.

We made this craft as one of the #hohoholiday crafts with Pink Chicken. Our fun holiday dresses in the photos are from Pink Chicken. Visit this Instagram post (click here) to see some of our friends crafts, for a Pink Chicken coupon code and a chance to win $250 to shop. Happy holiday crafting!
