Four Seasons Orlando Makes Disney Dreams Come True

April 2, 2016

Disney World, the happiest place on Earth… It really is a wonderful place and the joy we’ve seen in our children’s eyes as they see all the characters, castle and excitement is priceless. We took our girls for the first time when they were 2 and 4 years old. We really had the best trip and couldn’t imagine a return trip could ever be better… but it was.

We returned to Disney World a few months ago when the girls were 4 and almost 6. Again, it was exciting and fun filled, but this time I really felt like all our Disney dreams came true. Not only was the trip filled with Disney Magic, it was also filled with a lot of relaxing and quiet family time. The girls and I had the opportunity to take a special girls’ weekend to Disney World and stay at the Four Seasons Orlando.

Here are 10 reasons why Four Seasons Orlando made our Disney dreams come true:

1. The Pools

The pools at Four Seasons Orlando are incredible. I don’t know who was more in awe me or the kids.

There are a number of pools to choose from; you could never get bored. You can spend days and days enjoying all of the water fun. There’s the Family Pool, Splash Zone, The Drop and our favorite: the Lazy River!

2. The Rooms

The rooms were outstanding. They were comfortable, beautiful and had the perfect amount of space for traveling families. We were lucky enough to have a room that faced the park, so we watched the fireworks from our balcony each night. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. We’d come back from a busy day, give the kids a bath, and snuggle on the balcony in robes and wait for the sky to light up!

3. Their Character Meal

For details on Ravello’s Breakfast with Goofy & Pals and why it’s our favorite character meal in Disney World, visit this post.

4. Kids Club

The kid’s club is unbelievable. I never thought my girls would want to stay without me, but as soon as they saw other kids there without their parents and met the amazing staff, they actually asked me to leave! They played mini golf, games inside the club, and when I went to pick them up, they were enjoying some awesome activities in the water. Did I mention the kid’s club is included in your stay?!

5. Adult Only Pool

When the girls were at the kid’s club, I took some time to check out the adults only pool, The Oasis. It was quiet and very relaxing. People thought I was crazy for taking 2 kids to Disney World alone while pregnant. Sure, walking around the park was a little nutty, but a few relaxing hours solo by the pool made up for it!

6. Magical Moments

7. The Transportation

One thing we struggled with on our first trip to Disney World was the transportation. Having a private bus that went right from the front of the resort and was just for the resort guests made getting around Disney World so relaxing.

8. The Staff

The staff at Four Seasons Orlando go above and beyond to make your vacation memorable. They were so kind to the kids. Even though you’re staying at a gorgeous 5 diamond resort, you feel comfortable and welcome with little kids. In addition to being welcoming, their Disney desk was super helpful. They are located right in the lobby and knew everything we could possibly need to

know about Disney World.

9. Kids Eat Free

The food is awesome at each of the dining options at Four Seasons Orlando. Typically eating out at top restaurants on vacation with a family gets very costly, but when the kids eat free, it sure helps out. My kids loved the food and there were so many options for them. See resort website for details.

10. The Memories

When my girls talk about Disney World and their favorite parts about it, they always mention things that happened at the resort–from “going around the lazy river 100 times” to staying in the same hotel as Minnie & Mickey (they saw them walking down the hall). It was such a special weekend with my girls, and I am so thankful for all the extra lengths Four Seasons Orlando went to make it extra special.

I would highly recommend Four Seasons Orlando for a family vacation to Disney World. It’s a place kids can have a blast and adults can really relax and feel like they are on vacation too. We can’t wait to return someday with the rest of our family.
