Four Seasons Orlando: A Great Time of Year to Visit

October 8, 2018

A few weeks ago, Alex and I took a mother-daughter trip to Disney World. We have visited Orlando in the early fall a few times now and I can honestly say it’s a great time to visit Disney. Yes, it can be very hot and yes there is always a chance of rain but the low crowds and Halloween decor in the parks greatly outweighs that for me.

Four Seasons Orlando is our favorite place to stay in Disney World. The early fall is a great time to stay at the resort because it’s a slower time there too. The resort now sells out many times throughout the year, but mid September to Mid November is a slower time and very relaxing, quiet time there. They’re also offering a great deal this fall to travel before December 24th. There’s still time if you’re looking for a last minute getaway to Disney World or if you’re not far from Orlando and can drive on over for a few days.

Here’s the current special offer:

Disclosure: We were given a media discount during our stay. As always all opinions are my own.

If you visit Four Seasons Orlando before November 15th, you get a $500 Disney Gift Card (for a suite) or $200 Disney Gift Card (for a guest room). You can use your gift card to book your Disney World tickets or for dinning, souvenirs, etc. It’s really a great deal to save between $500-$200 on your Disney trip!

More fun news about Four Seasons Orlando: This was news to us since it wasn’t available last time we visited the resort: You can now link your reservation to My Disney Experience and get the benefits of staying on property. So now when you book Four Seasons Orlando, you get access to the 60 day Fast Pass+ AND Extra Magic Hours at the Park!! Details, click here.

Goofy and Pals Character Breakfast at Ravello

Also, did you know that Four Seasons Orlando has a character breakfast? It’s by far our favorite character meal – you meet Goofy, Mickey and Minnie! Even if you are not staying at FS Orlando, you can still do this character meal. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxing yet fun and all of the photos taken at the meal by the professional photographer are included at no extra charge.

After all your fun in the parks, here are a few new ways to relax at Four Seasons Orlando:

  • The New Sleep Ritual Massage at The Spa
  • New Golf Course Practice Facility
  • New Steak Experience at Capa

Read more about why we love this resort for families:

Four Seasons Orlando is a wonderful spot for families and really makes for a special Disney experience. People always ask if there’s a better time of year to visit for less crowds and better rates: Sept -Nov is it. This little getaway was extra special because I had some one on one time with my little birthday girl. For more on the resort and other trips we’ve taken to Four Season Orlando, visit these posts:

All of the beautiful photos in this post (except character meals) were taken by Jennifer Pierce. She’s an Orlando photographer that is wonderful with children and takes photos in the park, at your hotel, etc. I would highly recommend her for helping to capture your Disney vacation.
