Free Printable First Day of School Signs: All Grades!

August 29, 2018

Creating school signs for your kids’ first day can be an essential means of communication and one that can also benefit the school and its community. It’s also really fun to make! Here’s a free printable for kids that they’ll surely enjoy.

Prior to heading out for one last hurrah at the beach before the kids start school time, we’ll check off our school supply lists, pick out first day outfits and get our first day of school monument signs ready for the big day.

I’m so happy to share this FREE printable first day of school signs. When you click to download and print you’ll see we have every grade covered from preschool on up.

Click here to download and print these FREE First Day of School signs!

It has changeable lettering signs and you can choose between rainbow letters or gray letters for every grade level and just print the ones you need. I left the year off so if you like them and your kids have already started school, pin or save this post for next year!

Signs provide the essential means of an advantageous message to people and allowing your kids to bring this with them will make a child feel great for their  contribution.

Also, if you like them, come back here year after year and print each grade and all of your photo signs will match. You know, like all those onesie stickers and milestone cards you used years ago with your infant.

We did a little “pre-first day” photo shoot so you could see our signs in action. It’s crazy to me to look at these photos and the grades they’re all starting. These years, they fly by.

This year we’ll have a big 3rd grader starting the upper elementary school with all the “big kids”.

We have an excited 2nd grader that will celebrate her birthday the 2nd day of school.

We have a wild preschooler that can’t wait to see his friends. Here’s the gray version of the sign 🙂

And we have a “last baby” of the family starting school for the first time (cue mom sobbing).

We’re sharing our free printable back to school signs and also some really cute back to school styles from Mini Boden in this post. Starting tomorrow you can use code G9C2 for 25% off!!!  (Aug 30th to Sept 4th). I love Mini Boden for Back to School because the clothes last the whole school year.

Plus the bright, cheerful styles match these bright colored signs we made!

These printable signs are ideal for kids to effectively communicate their participation at school and also, aside from them looking very adorable with these, you can personalize it by removing the shades and use it as coloring pages for them. I hope you love them as much as me and my kids do!

Good luck at school next week everyone!

Pin these signs for later:
