The Chirping Moms

Get “School Supplied” with Box Tops

July 12, 2016

It’s hard to think about heading back to school in the middle of July & honestly, I don’t really because we are enjoying all the fun we can in summer:)  But, there is one easy thing that we do all summer long to help my childrens’ schools.  We collect Box Tops.

Box Tops is such an easy way to earn cash for your child’s school because each Box Top collected is worth ten cents.  All you have to do is cut the Box Tops off boxes and items that contain Box Tops & hand them into the school.  We collected for my son’s class all last year, so he is always eager to find boxes and other items on our grocery trips that have a Box Top just so he can take his collection in and earn money for his school!  All money earned from Box Tops goes directly to your local elementary school.  The school uses these funds to help supplement expenses at school.  With budget cuts that have happened over the past several years, I know that my children’s local school values the extra source of many that is brought in by Box Tops to help with supplies and teaching resources.
This year, you can get ready for school in the Hefty & Reynolds Box Tops for Education “School Supplied” sweepstakes and daily instant win game.  They are giving away thousands of product prizes PLUS 10,000 eBoxTops to five lucky school.  For more information, visit www.heftyreynoldsboxtops.com.
Box Tops are easy to find when you are shopping & are on a variety of products that we use everyday.  Not only can it be found on a variety of grocery items, but Box Tops are found on a wide range of kitchen products from Reynolds, as well as paper products and trash bags from Hefty.  During the summer, I love to use the Reynold’s Slow Cooker Liners & Parchment Paper for easy clean-up on these hot, long summer days.  Both of these items, as well as several other Reynolds’ items have a Box Tops on the box.
We also use a lot more paper products in the summer since we eat outside & often have friends over to join us for lunch or dinner.  Now, I can grab the Hefty Soak Proof plates and cups at the store to use and earn a little extra money for my children’s school.  Other Hefty items that carry a Box Tops on the package include:  Hefty® Ultra Flex® Trash Bags, Hefty® Deluxe™ Plates and Platter, & more.
Cutting Box Tops labels and saving them for school is a super easy way that I can support my children’s education all summer long!
