Nanobebe: The New Must Have for Breastfeeding Moms

February 13, 2018

I recently have been hearing a lot about the new Nanobebe Breastmilk Storage Bags and Organizer and their line of bottles. When we had a chance to try them out, I reached out to an amazing new mom, Leslie, to see if she’d be willing to try out the products and share what she thought of the system. She is exclusively pumping and today she’s sharing her experience with Nanobebe.

As a new mom, I had so many questions about the breastfeeding process prior to the arrival of my son 8 weeks ago.  He arrived 5 weeks early so although I had planned on exclusively breastfeeding, he spent a few days in the SCN (special care nursery) and got very used to a bottle so I switched gears and started exclusively pumping.  In the beginning, it felt like another chore that added extra time to my endless to-do list with a new baby and then someone recommended the Nanobebe Breastmilk Storage Bags and Organizer and these products were a big time saver!

Nanobebe Breastmilk Storage Bags, Organizer and Bottles

Aside from looking way cooler and more modern than the pumping products I was using, there are a few other key reasons why I love Nanobebe:
1.  Warms 2x faster than others on the market – those middle of the night feedings are hard enough as is but waiting for milk to warm to room temperature sometimes feels like torture.  The unique design of the bottles and storage bags spreads milk across a larger surface area which enables milk to cool and warm quicker so you aren’t adding extra time to your day especially at 3am when time is precious!
2.  Nutritional benefits – Sometimes it feels like all I do this time of year is worry about germs and my baby’s immune system.  Although I’m still constantly sterilizing bottles, the quick cooling and thawing of the storage bags preserves breastmilk nutrients and reduces bacterial growth.  Quite honestly, I didn’t even think about losing nutrients during the cooling and thawing process but since the main reason I am breastfeeding is for the health benefits it gives me peace of mind knowing none of that is being lost through pumping and storage.

3.  Saves space in the freezer – If you are lucky enough to have a stocked freezer of home cooked meals from family and friends it makes it a bit harder to find room to store milk.  The organizer takes up very little space in the freezer and the super slim storage bags stack very neatly.  This means no more digging through bags of frozen vegetables to find that last bag of milk!  Plus, the convenient ‘first in, first out’ tracking system leaves no room for error on which bag to grab.
4.  Bottle design reduces colic – As my son started eating more at each feeding he also started spitting up more and it seemed to be worse with certain bottles.  The Nanobebe bottles have a high-tech design with two vents that release air as the baby is eating so they aren’t building up as much gas.  Once we started using these I saw an improvement and although there will always be some spit up, he seems much more comfortable with these.  Plus, they are dishwasher safe which makes it easy to always have some clean and ready!
After using these products for a few weeks now I would defintely tell moms the Nanobebe Breastmilk storage bags and organizer are a must have if you plan on pumping!  Not only do they save time and space in the freezer, the health benefits for your baby ensure that everyone in the house is happy and healthy!
