On the Go Snack Ideas

May 15, 2013

For this Where To Wednesday, we are taking advantage of spring weather FINALLY arriving!  (Does it feel like winter lasted forever long this year?!?!)  With two boys full of energy and a little newborn baby who happens to love her carrier, we have spent a lot of time at the parks the past few weeks.

Today, we are sharing On the Go snack ideas with you below.  These ideas are perfect for the park, pool, picnic, vacation, and any other times that you are out and about.  Share your great ideas in the comments, we would love to add to our list with some of our readers’ suggestions!

ON THE GO SNACK IDEAS
  1. Food Pouches:  We love Plum Organics and Happy Baby ones for toddlers and I often grab the Go Go Applesauce packs/Trader Joe packs for my older one!
  2. You could also use Little Green Pouch to make your own food pouch full of smoothies, applesauce, etc!
  3. Dry Cereal
  4. Fruit Kabobs
  5. Mini Bagels
  6. Granola Bars/Cereal Bars
  7. Snack Size Bags of Crackers
  8. Fruit:  Apples, Grapes, Berries, and SO many more options
  9. Mini Muffins
  10. Trail Mix
  11. Peanut Butter or Cheese Cracker Packs
  12. Popcorn
  13. Mini Sandwiches
  14. Goldfish Crackers
  15. Dried Fruit
  16. Animal Crackers/Graham Crackers
  17. Pita Chips
  18. Fruit Leather Strips:  We love the ones you can find at Trader Joes!
  19. String Cheese
  20. Yogurt:  We often buy the yogurt tubes and keep them in the freezer.  Grab them as you head out the door and they will stay cold for a long time!
  21. Rice Cakes
  22. Jammy Sammies
  23. Pretzels
  24. Yogurt Melts
  25. Pita Bread with Hummus
  26. Frozen Grapes
  27. Celery and Peanut Butter
  28. Veggie Straws
  29. MySuperSnack Pouches from MySuperFoods
  30. Yummy Earth Lollipops:  Always have a few of these on hand in case your little ones fall and need a little pick-me-up!

In addition to Monday Kid Corner Weekly Linky Party, this week's theme is MUD. Brush off those archives and link them up at thejennyevolution.com. See you there! Jennifer
