This St. Patrick’s Day sensory bin was a huge hit in my son’s preschool class. I went into his class to help celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We did the St. Patrick’s Day pasta necklace from this post and I brought in Rainbow Snack Mix Bags (see this post). As the activities, we read some festive Irish books and the kids all had a turn with this St. Patrick’s Day Sensory Bin.
St. Patrick’s Day Sensory Bin
- Green dye
- Vegetable Oil
- Gold coins
- Plastic bin
Directions: To dye your spaghetti green, visit this post for “how to dye spaghetti” directions. Add the green spaghetti to a big plastic bin and then hide the plastic gold coins in the pasta.
The kids dug through the spaghetti to find coins. It was really a fun sensory bin!
