Stroller Review: Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+

September 21, 2018

This summer we tried out an awesome lightweight stroller for travel and everyday use: Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ Compact Fold Stroller. We almost always travel with our double stroller. Even if the 2 littlest are not riding in it, it’s a place to cart luggage or the big sisters who tend to hop in when they see an empty seat. When we were planning our trip to Italy I went back and forth on what kind of stroller to bring, whether or not to bring a stroller, etc.

I read about a thousand blog posts and a lot of people said to try and wear the child on your back. I attempted this with Miles before we left and he was having no part. I knew how narrow the side walks were, especially in Florence, from living there and knew our double was never going to even fit on the side walk. So after much research, decided to bring 2 single strollers. Then, we could bring one out for shorter adventures and both when we’d be walking further. The key was finding really easy single strollers for travel. We would be changing locations throughout Italy quite a bit and it included a lot of train travel including train connections. We needed strollers that were: 1. lightweight 2. super easy to fold 3. easy to carry the Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ Compact Fold Stroller checked off all of those boxes and an added bonus: the boys loved sitting in it and it reclined for them to sleep.

Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+

Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ Compact Fold Stroller is REALLY lightweight. I was skeptical from the photos, especially since it can be a stroller system/ is car seat compatible. When it arrived and I tried it out, it was way more lightweight than I expected. You can fold it very easily with one hand. My favorite part: once folded there’s an arm strap you can carry your stroller like a purse and still be totally hands free.

The Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ has a great compact fold design making it an ideal space-saving stroller. This was great for travel as we had a lot of “gear” along for plane, train and taxi rides. A few other thing we really enjoyed about traveling with this stroller: There is an oversized canopy which was key for nap time as well as long days in the hot Italian sun. There’s a large storage basket (larger than most!) which is an obvious perk for travel! The stroller was also very comfortable for the kids and even my little one that typically doesn’t typically love being in the stroller eagerly hopped into this stroller. My other little one that still needs a nap everyday fell asleep comfortably in this stroller when we were out and about on the trip.

I would highly recommend the Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ for infant on up through preschoolers. It’s great for travel and everyday use. You can find the Summer Infant 3Dpac CS+ for under $150 which is awesome for all of the features and convenience of this stroller. Check it out on their site or on Amazon. Happy strolling!

Disclosure: We were sent this stroller for the purpose of review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. #summerinfant #3dpac
