The GB Evoq Travel System

February 18, 2015

Disclosure: I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for GB. I received a GB stroller to facilitate my review as well as thank me for my participation.

Over the past five years, I’ve tried quite a few carseats and strollers, but had never used a true travel system. When I heard about the versatility of the new GB Evoq travel system, I was very interested in trying it out. It’s a 4-in1 system and works for various stages of your child’s growth. Since we currently have an infant, a three year old and a five year old, it’s been fun having them all try it out. We’ve already started to head out on adventures as a family of five and this travel system has been great.

If there’s something I’ve learned in my short time as a mother of three, is that the more kids involved, the more unpredictable an outing is. Sometimes the day starts out with the girls walking next to the stroller while Tommy sits happily in it, and ends with Tommy in the BabyBjorn, Alex riding in the stroller and Maggie on the kick board. With the GB Evoq, we can easily adjust the stroller to meet our ever changing needs.

For me, the biggest change about having a travel system is the infant carseat fitting into the stroller. The seat of the GB Evoq is lightweight and pops off easily. If Tommy is asleep in the car, I can pop the seat off the stroller and simply pop the carseat into the stroller base. I found myself planning what stroller to pack based on whether he was going to be awake or asleep. Now, the stroller changes to meet our needs. The seat of the stroller also easily switches from facing you to facing outward. This is a fantastic feature as children grow. The stroller seat is a great size: Tommy fits in it at 4 months and Alex fits in it at age 3.

The infant  car seat that come with the Evoq Travel System is the Asana35 Infant Car Seat.  It includes GB’s authentic FirmFit Installation system, which helps provide a secure and easy installation.

My favorite feature of the stroller is the built in kick board. It’s small and discrete, but does the trick when one of the girls needs a break from walking. One other feature I like about the GB Evoq Travel System is the large storage basket underneath. It  allows for plenty of space to carry what we need when we are out and about.

I’d highly recommend the GB Evoq Travel System. It’s a great investment, because it will grow with your child over the years. It will also accommodate more children, with the awesome built in kick board feature. GB products are sold exclusively at Babies “R” Us stores and BabiesRUs.com.
