The Chirping Moms

Where to Wednesday: Mom Trends Holiday Entertaining Event

December 13, 2012

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of attending a wonderful event in New York City: Holiday Entertaining with Mom Trends. You may remember hearing about Mom Trends after the fabulous fashion event they put on in the fall. Be sure to keep up with Mom Trends for all things “stylish & cool”.

They evening was filled with a wealth of information & new products for holiday entertaining. We’ve introduced you to one of the gifts we learned about already (Typecrush) & we’ll be bringing you many more in the coming weeks. Two things I came away with from this event, that I want to be sure to share with you:

An awesome party planning blog & my top choice for a hostess gift for 2012!

Party Planning Blog: Party Bluprints

The ladies behind the Party Bluprints Blog were at the event sharing some of their tips for holiday entertaining. Their blog is full of information for hosting all types of parties; from party ideas to drinks recipes. This blog has it all & it’s easy to navigate. These lovely ladies also wrote the book “Plan to Party”, which would make a great gift for any party plannes on your list.

My favorite tip of the night: When having a buffet style Christmas party, use mini stocking to hold utensils!

My #1 Hostess Gift for 2012: Method HolidayEdition Soaps

I’m a big fan of Method products. At the event, I was introduced to their Holiday Edition Soaps. There is a dish pump, foaming hand wash & gel hand wash. I think they make a practical, yet festive gift for anyone hosting a holiday party. They make cute teacher gifts too. Also, if you have a bunch of gifts to buy, these are the way to go at only $3.99 each. They sure made my kitchen & bathroom ready for Christmas!
