The Chirping Moms

Where to Wednesday: Momtrends Holiday Soiree

November 18, 2015

It’s  always fun to kick off the Holiday Season with Momtrends!  They’re my first look at the year’s holiday trends and they always host a great party. I was excited for a night out in New York City, checking out the fabulous finds the Momtrends Team was sure to deliver. This year, there was so much to see! Here’s a recap of a few of my favorites:

For the Kids:

American Girl

American Girl dolls are at the top of my girls’ lists this year. It just so happened that the ones they are asking Santa for were the ones on display at the event. It was fun to see them “out of the catalog” and i’m sure my girls will be super excited to see them under the tree if Santa delivers.

I See Me

Julie and I are big fans of I See Me. They make great personalized gifts for kids. I was excited to see their newest books, including a customizable “12 Days of Christmas” book. You can use your family’s last name for the title and multiple family members throughout the book!

Hasbro

Hasbro had a lot of their classic board games out for the holidays. It was fun to browse because this is the first year my kids are old enough for some of my childhood favorites, some of which i had forgotten about until seeing them in person again! Also, with the new Chromecast and Hasbro’s “Monopoly Here & Now: Big Screen Edition” app, you can host game night on your television screen. That’s definitely something to check out this season!

Mudpuppy & Galison

Mudpuppy makes some of my favorite “go-to” birthday party gifts. Their puzzles and magnet sets are adorable. I never knew how many awesome craft sets they make, so it was fun to browse their collection at the event. I took home a “Color A Mask” set and a princess “flip” coloring book for the  kids and they have really enjoyed both. There are SO many great kids’ gifts and stocking stuffers in the Mudpuppy line this season. I typically order their items fro mAmazon.

For Entertaining:

Tessemaes

If you know me well, you know I do not usually like salad dressing. So for me to say a line of salad dressing was delicious, means it must really be good. Tessemaes was at the event showcasing their line of salad dressings and showing how to use them in many recipes great for entertaining. They are dairy free, gluten free, and with no sugar added. The line was created by 3 brothers who loved their moms homemade dressings. They all really taste homemade and creating dips with them is a breeze.

POM Wonderful

I never know how many things you could do with pomegranates. I like pomegranates and think they’re perfect for holiday entertaining, given their pretty red color. POM Wonderful share drink, meal, appetizer and dessert recipes that were delicious and great for holiday entertaining. You can find the recipes on their site.

Teleflora

Tele flora never disappoints in the holiday floral department. They always have beautiful arrangements and gifts. This season, be sure to check out their cute Peanuts collection!

Igloo

Igloo Coolers has an awesome line this holiday season. Their coolers make a great hostess gift and are also perfect for transporting food and wine to holiday parties!

Looks like you had fun seeing all the lovely products. I so want the bitty baby (think thats its name) as it reminds me of my doll Tiny Tears that I had as a child lol
