Maggie went back & forth on what she wanted to be for Halloween. She seemed to be pretty set on Mickey Mouse, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a costume (especially if she changed her mind again the next day). I came up with this:

It was super cheap for me because I had everything but the felt & red shorts! Supplies:

White & black felt

Stiff black felt

headband

black shirt

red shorts

black tights or pants

old sneakers

yellow paint

White gloves

For the ears, I used the stiff black felt & a hot glue gun.

I also hot glued on the white felt circles & a black tail onto the shorts.

Paint the sneakers yellow & you are ready to go.

Oh & a little black eyeliner on the nose!

When my mom heard Maggie was going to be Mickey, she got Alex a minnie onesie.

If you still have this and would be willing to sell please contact me at gypsie327@gmail.com. I've been searching high and low for a mickey costume for my 2½ yr old son. Every store ive been to has been sold out of his size n the ones i have found online are either out of stock, too small/big, too expensive($80-$130 for the style i like), made cheap etc. Id be happy with just the shorts, and shoes( depending on size) and maybe the gloves. Ive been trying to find the pieces to make it myself just as you did but i cnt find shorts big enough n plus its hard to find shorts at all this time of year. If you do still have this id be so grateful n thankful if you would let me purchase this from you and my son would be so so happy to have this b/c Mickey is his idle 🙂 im sorry if this seems crazy n random but im desperate at this point. It would mean alot to the both of us considering ive already bought my minnie mouse costume to wear to accompany "mickey" halloween night. That is if you even still have it.
