Christmas Craft: Easy Ninja Turtle Ornament

December 21, 2018

This is the first Christmas I have a little boy in the house that’s super into the holiday season. His first few Christmas seasons, Tommy was a baby/toddler and followed his sisters lead and didn’t quite get the excitement of it all. This year, he has a full list to Santa of super hero toys, firefighters and more. He asks to make crafts and to help decorate. He was also given some super cool Ninja Turtle hand me down toys and costumes from a friend so he decorates the house dressed as a Ninja Turtle. I thought it would be really fun to combine his 2 current favorites: Christmas and Ninja Turtles by making this cute Ninja Turtle Christmas ornament.

It’s so simple and we actually had all the supplies already. We had a box of plain red and green ornaments so we were ready to start crafting. Here’s all you need:

Ninja Turtle Christmas Ornament

Supplies: green Christmas ornament, google eyes, glue and orange, blue, purple or red ribbon (depending on which turtle you want to make)

Directions:Cut a piece of ribbon that is about 2 inches longer than the length needed to wrap around the ornament. Glue the ribbon around the ornament leaving an inch on each end so it looks like the turtle “tied” his make on. Glue on the google eyes and you’re all set!
