I had snack duty this week for preschool and wanted something patriotic since it was their last day of school before Memorial Day. For kids, an easy way to make a patriotic snack is combining strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows. Here’s how I used those red, white and blue foods to make a fun patriotic snack for kids:

Patriotic Snack for Kids

Ingredients:

  • ice cream cones
  • white chocolate (to melt)
  • patriotic sprinkles
  • mini marshmallows
  • blueberries
  • strawberries

Directions:

Melt the white chocolate using a double boiler (or the microwave). Dip the top of the ice cream cones in the melted chocolate and cover with the patriotic sprinkles. Let cool. Fill the cones with the mini marshmallows, blueberries and diced strawberries.

Here’s a few more easy patriotic dessert ideas:

  • Easy Red, White & Blue Ice Pops
