Star Spangled Snack Mix
I came up with the Star Spangled Snack mix when looking for an easy patriotic recipe. I wanted to bring a dessert that I didn’t have to bake. Back as Easter, we made a “bunny chow” that was a big hit, so I thought “why not make it red, white and blue?” This is easy to make and super easy to transport to a 4th of July Party or BBQ. We found fun, patriotic star sprinkles to add in!

Star Spangled Snack Mix

1 cup white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons butter
8 cups crispy rice square cereal
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup of M&M’S (we picked out just the red & blue ones)
1 cup mini marshmallows
Patriotic sprinkles

Directions:
1. Measure out cereal and put in a large bowl.
2. Melt butter and white chocolate chips & pour over the cereal and mix.
3. Once it’s cool, place the mixture into a large zip-top bag, add the powdered sugar and toss until all the cereal is coated in powdered sugar.
4. Add in the M&M’S, sprinkles and marshmallows

Enjoy this easy 4th of July recipe!
