Activities for Kids: 3 Toilet Paper Roll Animals

If you have animals lovers in your house, these fun crafts for kids will be a hit. They’re also good if you are looking for crafts for “P” week for preschool: we have a penguin, puppy and pig craft today.  These toilet paper roll animals are easy and fun to make. 

Everyone is collecting toilet paper these days so why not make some toilet paper roll animals! After making these 3, I let my kids try and come up with some other animals on their own with the extra toilet paper rolls. We ended up with a whole lot of animals.

Toilet Paper Roll Animals 

Toilet Paper Roll Penguin

How to Make A Toilet Paper Roll Penguin:

Supplies:

  1. Toilet paper rolls
  2. Scissors 
  3. Glue
  4. Black Paint 
  5. Google Eyes
  6. White, black and orange paper

Directions: Paint the toilet paper roll black. Once dry, glue on the eyes. Cut out wings, a white belly and an orange nose and feet from the paper and glue on. 

How to Make A Toilet Paper Roll Puppy Dog

Supplies:

  1. Toilet paper rolls
  2. Scissors 
  3. Glue
  4. Brown Paint 
  5. Google Eyes
  6. Brown paper
  7. Black marker 

Directions: Paint the toilet paper roll brown. Once dry, glue on eyes and draw on the rest of the dog’s face. Cut ears out of the brown paper and glue those on too. You can make the dog any color you’d like! 

 

How to Make A Toilet Paper Roll Pig

Supplies:

  1. Toilet paper rolls
  2. Scissors 
  3. Glue
  4. Pink Paint 
  5. Google Eyes 
  6. Button
  7. Pink pipe cleaner
  8. Pink Paper (or white paper colored pink)

Directions: First glue the button onto the toilet paper roll as the pigs nose. Next, paint the toilet paper roll pink and paint right over the button so the nose is pink too. Once dry, glue on on the google eyes. Cut out the ears and glue them to the inside of the toilet paper roll. Last, curl the pipe cleaner and attach it by poking a hole in the toilet paper roll.
